Promises

1. I promise to keep my promises: We are in a sorry state when someone feels he has to promise to keep promises, aren't we?
   
   
2. I promise to base my decisions on my core values and vision shown in this webpage.
   
   
3. I promise to listen to the people of the district. If two thirds of the people in the district as determined by a valid national poll want a specific vote, I will either vote that way or resign.
   
   
4. I promise I will not vote for any new tax increases.
   
   
5. I promise I will support a law lowering income tax rates
   
   
6. I promise to send a periodic email telling all who would like to know the votes that are up for vote and why I choose to vote a specific way
   
   
7. I promise to make logical and reasonable decisions that benefit the people of the district, not the careers of politicians.
   
   
8. I promise I will vote to change procedures so that earmarks cannot be added to unrelated bills.
   
   
9. I promise to monitor how federal road funds are spent in the district so that we have good transportation projects.
